Why?

I created this blog with the hope to inspire you to take the leap of faith into something God placed on your heart. Jeremiah 29:11 makes it evident that God has a plan for every person on this earth. I know that God has called you to do something bigger than yourself. Something that may scare you or something you think you can never achieve on your own. I’m here to tell you those thoughts are normal — nerves are normal. What matters is how you respond to His call. Will you respond in faith, or will you tell yourself that your dream is too big for you accomplish? I lived in my comfort zone for years. During this time, I was focused on living for myself. I built a career, purchased a home, and spent money on vacations among other things. If it made me happy, I was doing that thing. Ultimately living the “American Dream”.  And I was happy, until I wasn’t. Now I’m not saying doing those things is bad. God wants us to enjoy His creation and blesses us with good things. But for me, it wasn’t the path that was making me happy – internally. I didn’t feel fulfilled. That’s how I knew I needed a change. This blog is a bit of my story and how I stepped out of the boat. Matthew 14:29 “’Come’, said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.” Where is Jesus calling you?
